"The Age of diversity...

We often hear "celebrate your diversity" today. What makes us great is our division, our uniqueness from each other. In Albert Camus', The Plague,we find characters much like we see today.

Jean Tarrou and Dr. Rieux are atheistic existentialists, but express their existentialism in their individual unique ways. Father Paneloux presents a Christian existentialism, while the old Spaniard is a pure nihilist.

The key to our success in the United States of America lies in the "United." Though each person has a different world view, we are united for our mutual defense. Discord among our political leaders in a time of war is a dangerous position.

"All your strength is in your union,
All your danger is in discord." - Longfellow
